Fun with Gelli Plates

Fun Saturday

Had a great day on Saturday with Sally, Jenny and Diane we were playing with Gelli Plates and acrylic paints and also making a small brag book. We did half a day at each swapping at lunch so that we could all have fun. Below are some of my examples – I think I need to play more with the Gelli plates especially after watching one of  Andy Skinner’s videos on Facebook and all of the different layers he uses. Learnt a few lessons about not putting too much paint on the plates and also not trying to mix too many colours at once. I think I will go back and over print with some different techniques and colours on some of the pages.

Loved the look but found out that it really has to be foam stamps for definition.

We only used 2 double sided sheets of 12″ by 12″ might try and experiment with 6″ by 6″ for a bit of fun!
